Nature at it's very finest. Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a fantastic attraction, whatever the season. Wander your way around a waterfall wonderland with landscape views that will give any picture perfect postcard a run for its money. Soak up the unspoilt surroundings all year round. At 4 and a half miles long, you should allow for between 2 and 4 hours to complete the full trail. Open all year around (apart from Christmas Day) it really is an attraction not to be missed, and how lucky we are that it's right on our doorstep.

Whilst you're here, why not visit the longest show cave in Britain? Guided tours cover approximately 1 mile through the famous White Scar Cave and take around 80 minutes to complete. In the cave itself you'll discover 'The Witches Fingers', 'The Devils Tongue' and 'The Judges Head' to name just a few of the caves quirky and fascinating features. Daily tour times are updated regularly on their website and there's a Café and Gift Shop for you to visit whilst you're there. February to October they are open from 10am every day. November to January they are open on weekends only (excluding the school holidays). Tour tickets can be purchased at the ticket office when you arrive. Happy caving!

Ingleton's 3 Peaks Challenge consists of Ingleborough (723m/2372ft), Pen-y-Ghent (694/2277ft) and Whernside (736m/2415ft). A challenging 29.6 mile circular walk when started from Ingleton. Begin at Ingleton's Community Centre (where you'll be able to park your car) you can start by heading up Ingleborough, once reaching the summit you follow the path down to Horton-in-Ribblesdale which will lead you to the bottom of Pen-y-Ghent. This is the smallest peak of the 3 but you can expect a small scramble when you near the summit! From here, follow the Pennine Way sign until you reach Ribblehead Viaduct and the bottom of Whernside - don't be put off! Although Whernside is the tallest of the 3 peaks, it is known as the easiest to climb. The route will then lead you back round to Ingleton, where you can enjoy some well earned food and a well deserved pint to finish a challenging yet beautiful day of hiking!
